PWC Meeting
The March meeting of the Plantation Women's Club was held on Saturday, March 2nd. We had 30 ladies in attendance which included two returning guests, one new guest, and one new member attending for the first time.
Instead of a speaker, the ladies assembled Easter Baskets to be distributed to the residents of Oak Mountain Village Healthcare in Carrollton and some of our PWC shut-ins. The Service Project was to bring candy, and personal items for men and women as well as diabetics.
This Service Project is a Women's Club favorite because it gives the ladies a chance to work alongside one another and time to talk and get to know some of our new members.
35 baskets were assembled and a team of volunteers distributed the baskets and met the residents. A definite win-win for all.
Below we have our Board and members all getting to know one another and enjoying the day.
