Sets agenda and presides at all meetings of the membership and Executive Board. Prepares and presents a calendar and operating budget to the Executive Board for discussion and approval. Oversees the planning and budgeting for all fundraising and expenditures of The Club. Assists vice presidents in identifying capable members of The Club to serve as chairpersons of fundraising events and community projects. Appoint chairpersons of all standing committees. The President should be in attendance at all Women’s Club functions, if possible.
Teri has been a member since 2016. One evening at Trivia, Teri and a teammate were talking about checking out the Women’s Club. Teri attended her first meeting and “felt the warmth” the club had for one another and our surrounding communities. In 2022 Teri served on the board as Corresponding Secretary; in 2023 as Recording Secretary; in 2024 was was elected President.
Membership
Shall be responsible for collecting yearly dues, providing receipts, and maintaining the membership list. Updating New Member packets for distribution to new members. Notify Club members of meetings and other events, as requested by the Board or other officers. Track reservations and cancellations for the monthly meetings. Prepare and distribute the membership roster no later than the April meeting. Select Call Committee to call members who don’t have email access and invite them to monthly meetings. Select a Decorations Committee to decorate tables at monthly meetings Select a Hospitality committee to greet new members and introduce them to other members. Work closely with the Publicity Committee Chair regarding upcoming meetings, community service projects, and Club contact/membership information.
The PWC Treasurer is responsible for ensuring an accurate accounting of all Club funds received and disbursed as directed by the Executive Board. This includes working closely with other Club committees, annually submitting Club books to the auditor and filing the necessary tax documents. The Treasurer must maintain and store all financial records and present a monthly report to the membership with an annual review report at the first meeting of the new calendar year. Financial reports are filed after each Club meeting with the recording secretary. After an election, the Treasurer is responsible for a seamless handoff to the new Treasurer.
Willean was elected as Treasurer in 2025. After retirement from AT&T, Willean started a second career with a company that processes online payments and provides fraud screening services for global telecom companies and eCustomer merchants. In her role as a Senior Relationship Manager, she supports US based telecom companies. Willean and her husband David, and two dogs, moved to Fairfield almost four years ago. In addition to being PWC Treasurer, Willean is a ‘permanent’ volunteer at the PWC spring and fall yard sale concession stand. Her philosophy is simple, just try to be a good person, love who you can, help when you, and give what you can. Being a member of the PWC provides an opportunity to give back to the community and spend time with intelligent, interesting, and fun women who care about their community and are willing to work to make a difference for others.
Donna Mackenzie
Programs
Shall be responsible for planning and presenting a speaker and activity each month. Plan, direct, and carry out service projects that benefit the community. Maintain “Save the Date” cards to be distributed at the monthly meetings. In consultation with the President, will appoint committee chairs, as needed, for community service projects. Appoint a Program Committee, as needed, and serve as chairman. Assume all duties of the President and 1st Vice-President in their absence.
Donna has been a member since 2024. She moved to Fairfield with her husband after living in New England for 45 years to be closer to family and escape the frigid winters. She loves Fairfield and enjoys being involved in the community. She joined the Women's Club in Fairfield for the camaraderie and community service. In New England, she served four years on the board of her town’s Council on Aging.
Recording Secretary
This position is responsible for taking minutes at all Executive Board Meetings and monthly Membership meetings. Also, receive, file, and serve as custodian of all records, documents, and reports. Work closely with the Historical Committee regarding the transfer and storage of documents.
Jericho and her husband, Kevin, and their three children (Isaac 20, Everlee 15, and Bear 12) moved to Fairfield in July 2023 after 15 years in the Seattle area. As a native Californian, she is pleased to be living in a sunnier climate again.
Jericho joined the club in December 2023 as a way to make friends and to help with local charities in her new community. She loves what the club does and is always amazed by how much this great group of ladies can accomplish.
Jericho is currently a Nutrition Services Assistant (aka a lunch lady) at Villa Rica Middle School. Which gets her out of the house after almost two decades as a stay-at-home mom, but also allows her to still be on the same schedule as her very active younger children.
