2024 Board Members
President, Teri Jinks
Sets agenda and presides at all meetings of the membership and Executive Board. Prepares and presents a calendar and operating budget to the Executive Board for discussion and approval. Oversees the planning and budgeting for all fundraising and expenditures of The Club. Assists vice presidents in identifying capable members of The Club to serve as chairpersons of fundraising events and community projects. Appoint chairpersons of all standing committees. The President should be in attendance at all Women’s Club functions, if possible.
Teri has been a member since 2016. One evening at Trivia, Teri and a teammate were talking about checking out the Women’s Club. Teri attended her first meeting and “felt the warmth” the club had for one another and our surrounding communities. In 2022 Teri served on the board as Corresponding Secretary; in 2023 as Recording Secretary; in 2024 was was elected President.
Janet Oxendine
1st Vice President -
Fundraising
Shall plan, direct and carry out all fundraising activities, documenting details for each. In consultation with the President, will appoint committee chairs, as needed for fundraising events. Update the volunteer list and coordinate with the event chairperson for volunteer needs. Update the volunteer list and coordinate with the event chairperson for volunteer needs. Running meetings in the absence of the club President.
Janet joined the Women’s Club October 2017. As a new resident to Fairfield, Janet joined the Women’s Club to get involved in the community. Since joining Janet has served on the Executive Board as Recording Secretary in 2019; Corresponding Secretary 2022; she was elected President and held that position until she moved into the role of 1st VP Fundraising in 2024. Janet was awarded the woman of the Year in 2020.
Jennifer Taylor
2nd Vice President -
Programs
Shall be responsible for planning and presenting a speaker and activity each month. Plan, direct and carry out service projects which benefit the community. Maintain “Save the Date” cards to be distributed at the monthly meetings. In consultation with the President, will appoint committee chairs, as needed, for community service projects. Appoint a Program Committee, as needed, and serve as chairman. Assume all duties of the President and 1st Vice-President in their absence.
Jennifer moved to Fairfield with her husband and two currently college age adult children December 2020. Ryan attends KSU, and Kendall attends UWG. Jennifer joined the Women’s Club to meet other women in Fairfield and get involved in ways to give back. She was very involved with women’s and children’s organizations in college and immediately after through work social services and counseling agencies in Carroll and Douglas counties; however, since leaving that field, she has not been as connected with those important causes. She currently works part-time in Real Estate Investing/Property Management. Jennifer has really enjoyed getting her daughter Kendall involved with the Women’s Club. Kendall has been the Easter Bunny and an Elf and has made the programs really enjoyable.
Maryanne Layton

Membership
Shall be responsible for collecting yearly dues, providing receipts, and maintaining the membership list. Updating New Member packets for distribution to new members. Notify Club members of meetings and other events, as requested by the Board or other officers. Track reservations and cancellations for the monthly meetings. Prepare and distribute the membership roster no later than the April meeting. Select Call Committee to call members who don’t have email access and invite them to monthly meetings. Select a Decorations Committee to decorate tables at monthly meetings Select a Hospitality committee to greet new members and introduce them to other members. Work closely with the Publicity Committee Chair regarding upcoming meetings, community service projects, and Club contact/membership information.
Willean Duncan
Treasurer
The PWC Treasurer is responsible for ensuring an accurate accounting of all Club funds received and disbursed as directed by the Executive Board. This includes working closely with other Club committees, annually submitting Club books to the auditor and filing the necessary tax documents. The Treasurer must maintain and store all financial records and present a monthly report to the membership with an annual review report at the first meeting of the new calendar year. Financial reports are filed after each Club meeting with the recording secretary. After an election, the Treasurer is responsible for a seamless handoff to the new Treasurer.
Willean was elected as Treasurer in 2025. After retirement from AT&T, Willean started a second career with a company that processes online payments and provides fraud screening services for global telecom companies and eCustomer merchants. In her role as a Senior Relationship Manager, she supports US based telecom companies. Willean and her husband David, and two dogs, moved to Fairfield almost four years ago. In addition to being PWC Treasurer, Willean is a ‘permanent’ volunteer at the PWC spring and fall yard sale concession stand. Her philosophy is simple, just try to be a good person, love who you can, help when you, and give what you can. Being a member of the PWC provides an opportunity to give back to the community and spend time with intelligent, interesting, and fun women who care about their community and are willing to work to make a difference for others.
Leah Brumbelow
Recording Secretary
Leah has been a member since 2015. She came to a meeting to meet some people and has been actively involved since. She served on the board in 2016 as 3rd Vice President; in 2018 as President; in 2022 she was Recording Secretary and in 2023 as 3rd Vice President, Membership. Was awarded Woman of the Year in 2015.
Jamie Davis
Corresponding Secretary
On behalf of the membership, send notes, cards, create flyers and other correspondence, as directed. Share correspondence with the membership. Maintain Job Description, all policies and procedures, checklists, duty suggestions, SOP, etc., in a notebook or electronic file to be handed off and utilized for orientation for incoming board members
Jamie has been a member since 2011. She was asked to come to a meeting and check the club out and has been actively involved ever since. She served on the board in 2013 and 2014 as the Recording Secretary; she has chaired the annual Breakfast with Santa from 2013 until COVID and then again in 2023. She was awarded Woman of the Year in 2023.
